About us

In 2012 Osvaldo Ferrer, a company with more than 30 years of experience in international trade and development of plant-based products, was transformed into a family business called Bio Producciones S.A.

Due to the experience and efficiency in the development of new markets and the increase in the export volume of the feed industry and protein supplements for animal feed, Bio Producciones is currently an Argentine company dedicated exclusively to the production and export of 100% plant-based dog food, under the brands The Green Dog and Ketunpet.

The company's medium-term projection foresees a significant increase in feed export volumes, as well as the development of new markets.

Our products are marketed internationally without entry restrictions, because we do not use as raw materials the flours produced with animal waste and therefore, we have practically no sanitary barriers (mad cow, foot and mouth disease, others) in foreign trade.

Through distribution agreements and partnerships and with a lot of effort we have been able to take our products to almost every continent. Currently we have presence in Argentina, Chile, United States, Canada and India.

Facilities

Our production is outsourced and through strategic agreements with the plant Agro Industrias Baires, we have the authorization to produce and export to different destinations achieving consistent quality and production efficiency.

The plant is equipped with the latest technology available for extrusion food processing and advanced equipment – manufactured by the world's most renowned suppliers – which offer a wide production capacity and, in addition, care for and maximize the nutritional attributes of the products.

The Green Dog

In 2014, after a period of research, scientific validation and product development, Bio Producciones focused its attention on the production of a 100% plant-based dog food that is complete and balanced with super premium quality raw materials and that satisfies the nutritional profile of dogs at all stages of life.

This is how The Green Dog and Ketunpet were born, a product with a formula healthy and balanced specially designed for dogs to live their Best Version. The excellent, perfectly combined ingredients provide all the nutrients a dog will need as a puppy to grow strong and as an adult dog to maintain proper weight and live a long, healthy life.

The Green Dog and Ketunpet are 100% plant-based, cholesterol-free, gluten-free, low- sodium, hypoallergenic, with no artificial colors or flavors in its formula, and contains high biological value of its proteins that allow our food to be considered as Super premium.
